Incomplete

I'm flying out of Earth tonight
Red light, green light
I'm ready for my flight
The time is right
And I want to fly
Across galaxies and stars
Uranus and Mars
No gravity here to pull me down
No air that I can breathe
And no earth beneath
I left my home so far behind
Some photographs and memories
Bouncing in my mind
When asteroids and comets
Pass by me
So many hidden miracles I see
Limits of time hold me no more
My wife is 60
I'm 24
And here I am
A million miles away
Sailing across the sea of black
A broken radio and some capsules to eat
No mornings and nights
And no one to greet
My journey will always be incomplete
